Hello there!!

I'm Choi Lai Yeet. You can call me‘Lai Yeet’.

The reason for me and my group members are setting up this blog is to fulfill our E-Commerce (UBAI3013)'s coursework requirements. We are instructed to write blogs on related topics of the E-Commerce subject. This is my very first time writing a blog. With the zero experience in writing blogs, I will try my very best to complete this assignment.

But before that, I would like to introduce more about myself first. I was born on 5th February 1986. I'm a 22 years old Aquarius this year. Besides that, I was born and grew up in Kuantan, Pahang. I'm the only one who came from my hometown in my class Tutorial 2, Year 3 Semester 1 of Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Entrepreneurship in UTAR (Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman). I'm just an ordinary girl who comes from a small town to another even smaller town (Bandar Sungai Long) to pursue my studies for a total of 3 years. During my study here I had known many friends from all over our country. There are some from the North, South and also the West of Malaysia.

During my spare time I prefer to watch dramas, especially dramas from Hong Kong. Moreover, I love to listen to music from all kinds of genres. Not to mention, me also loved to surf the internet everyday. Without the internet nowadays life isn’t complete. Besides of the above hobbies, sleeping would also be one of them. (Haha) Sometimes when my days are not filled with any activity I would fall asleep easily. (Hehehhh..) :p

Below are the 5 most frequent website I visited most:
(i)www.friendster.com – Through Friendster I'm able to know even more people from all around the world, and stay connected with my family members and friends. Gather friends who share the same interest and discuss about it. Interact with friends who are long lost and update with what they are doing everyday.

(ii)www.youtube.com – I enjoy clips from Youtube which some are funny and interesting ones.

(iii)www.thestar.com.my – The Star Online provides latest news of our planet. By reading news online I need not to buy newspaper. One thing good about online newspapers that we can retrieve old news when we need for researches.

(iv)www.hotmail.com – I have an e-mail account with Hotmail. I do check my mails almost everyday when I’m free.

(v)www.yahoo.com – I do use Yahoo as my search engine for information. I do much information research to complete my assignments. With quality information will able to gain high marks in my assignments.

With the internet our life are becoming more convenient especially for us as a student. Writing blogs is getting more popular and is easy to be used. We need not to write in that little diary book anymore. Righ?

Self Introduction

Hello, my name is Wong Chee Wai, you can just call me Chee Wai. I am currently pursuing my bachelor degree of entrepreneurship at UTAR.

This is the first time ever I write a blog, and it is the requirement of my coursework. Actually I do long to write and create a blog of my own, just that I have been lazy all this while. Since I have started to write one, hopefully it will motivate me to write more interesting blogs in the future.

This blog is about self-introduction of myself, so I would like to talk about my own hobbies or rather activities which I do during my free time. Whenever I am free, I will surf the internet. For me, the internet is just like a space which you can find everything in it, by just a click of our finger tip. I like to search for information

Besides surfing the internet, I also like to read books. I do read different types of books when I am free. There are a lot of knowledge and information in every book, and books I read range from comics to novels and personal finance management.

I also like outdoor activities. Recently I have been playing badminton with my group of friends, not to mention its benefits to our health. Bowling is also one of my favourite sports.


Since I like to surf the internet, there are a few websites which I visit very frequently and I would like to share them with you.

i) www.wikipedia.org – This is the website I like to search the most because it offers me almost every information I look for. Not only that it is quite complete, but also it explains everything in detail, it is just like the database and dictionary for me.
ii) www.chinese.cari.com – I visit this website quite frequently as I can find a lot of interesting and exclusive news and articles in it. Besides news, I can also view some comments posted in forum. It is always interesting to read their argument and opinions, haha.
iii) www.youtube.com – This is the website I will visit when I want to watch some videos online. I can find latest video clips which are interesting.
iv) www.miniclip.com – This is basically a website offering a lot of free mini games. When I am free, I will look for latest and interesting games. This is for my relaxation purpose.
v) www.yahoo.com – I set this webpage as my home. It is also my main search engine when I want to look for anything. Besides, yahoo updates its news frequently and I can obtain new information everyday.

Self Introduction

The same method for me to introduce myself here. Well, my name is Yeap Sue Yie. I was born in 25 june 1986 and that makes me a CANCER. I was born in Kelantan but then was brought up in Kedah.

Thin and dark with big round eyes, that’s what people normally describe me as. I enjoyed traveling very much and I can consider myself as a backpacker to be (in the future). I enjoyed studying the map and have a quite advantureous personality and I like trying out new things. I like baking as much as I like travelling. There is a kind of satisfaction when i see people around me tasting my cake and asking for more. Beside traveling and baking, I see sleeping as a very important activities in my life as well. (Wondering if sleeping can be considered as a hobby.)

I enjoyed those time being around with my classmates and my housemates as well. Eventhought there is not much entertaining programs available in Sg. Long, however chit chatting and "yamcha-ing" helps me to spend the time faster.

I have got my diploma in business administration in TARC, Penang campus and now i am furthuring my studies in Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Entreprenuership.
As an undergraduate student and staying far away from families, I do a lot of surfing especially when it comes to weekends, as most of my friends who are locals will be going back home. The 5 website that most visited is

• www.gmail.com - I visited this particular website twice a day which is once I switch on my computer and before I shut it down. I have set it as my homepage.


• www.friendster.com - Firstly, I found that this particular website so interesting is that it enables me to stay connected with friends and I even got a chance to meet those long lost friends. I am not only able to know what is happening to friends around me, but also get to know more friends.


• www.metacafe.com - I visit this website quite often to enjoy funny video clips and advertisements.


• www.chinese.cari.com.my - I used to use this website to read forums and get myself updated.


• www.xiaoli.cc - I visit this website to watch online movies and dramas.

I can spend almost whole day sitting in front of the computer and surfing the net. I spend time on MSN, searching for information such as journals and articles for assignments, playing online games, reading forums and booking movie tickets.

Without doubt, I can say that internet has played a very important role in me as a University student. Beside using the internet as entertainment puposes, I made use of the internet in my studies as well.

Hi everyone. Thanks for viewing this blog. I'm Peck Kee or to be known as Peggy. I was born in the year of 1987 in October and Libra is my horoscope. Some people say, person who born in this month are having the characteristics such as friendly, helpful and optimistic. To know whether is true or not, you can try to get to know me. I was born in the historical town in Malaysia but currently I stay in a town which are famous with pretty girls and caves. Guess where? Is Ipoh. A town which is also famous for beansprouts chicken.

Formerly, I'm a Tarcian who study in Kampar and enrolled in the course of Diploma in Business Studies (Business Administration). Study in TARC provides me with the foundation to study in university. Currently, I'm pursuing my degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Entrepreneurship at Utar. In UTAR, I meet a lot of friends which is friendly and helpful. Especially those who are from ENT group 2. I enjoy the moment that we get together. Although they always bully and tease me, I never angry with them.

For this semester we are requested to create blog for one of our subject that is E-commerce. So this is the blog that we have created. The first blog where four of us can share the thoughts and knowledge together. The first time where four of us work together. I would like to thanks to my group member who give me the oppurtunity to cooperate with them. Work with different people can give me a different experiences. Hope that we can create fireworks and come out with quality work.

Surfing over the internet is what we do everyday. Basically there are five websites that I visited the most all this while. It includes:

• http://www.frienster.com/ - I like to visit friendster website is because i can meet with new friends. Besides, I can also maintain a close distance with my existing friends and receive the most recents updates from them.


• http://www.tudou.com/ - At here I can watch movie online for free. Old drama series will be found here.


• http://www.wikipedia.com/ - A lots of information can be find here. It helps me a lot in doing my assignment as well as to gain additional knowledge which we can't find in the textbook.


• http://www.grab.com/ -It become my favourites sites since i can play games for free. Many games can be found here.


• http://www.thestar.com/ - At here I can read free news. I do not need to buy newspapers everyday. I can read the news anytime that I want. Old news can be retrieve easily from the archieve. So it can provide some sort of information that is needed for research purposes.

As a university students, internet has become part of my life. Almost everyday, I will be sit in front of the computer to search for information in order to do my assigment and hold group discussion. Without internet, almost all the work cannot be done. So, internet had bring convenience to us.
